Chubbs began where most small businesses do – at home. I've been baking brownies for years as a special treat for family and friends. When my husband became a high school football coach, I ended up working the concession stand. Our standout item? My homemade fudge brownies. They were always the first to go. The more we made for each game, the quicker they went – to a point where people were placing orders before each game to ensure they got their brownies. That’s when we figured, we may have something special.

Why the name Chubbs?”  Our brownies may be slightly chubby, but it's the nickname our daughter gave to her dad, “Chubbs.” She loved to lay on his chubby belly as a kid. He’s lost his “chubb” but the name stuck, and  we thought, “this is a great name for our brownie business.” We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
